Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Vice President in the Buyside Trading Services Sales team to drive new client acquisition and cross-selling across Agency Securities Finance and Collateral Management in Asia Pacific, with primary coverage for China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

You will set sales strategy, coordinate with product and coverage partners, and lead opportunities through the full sales cycle to deliver revenue growth and expanded wallet share with institutional clients.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in financial services, with strong knowledge of Agency Securities Finance and/or Collateral Management.
• Experience in institutional sales, business development or relationship management.
• Track record of originating opportunities and converting mandates into revenue-generating relationships.
• Experience working with institutional client segments such as sovereign wealth funds, central banks, pension funds, insurance companies and asset managers.
• Ability to engage credibly with senior client stakeholders, including CFOs/COOs/CIOS and other executives.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to identify client needs and balance outcomes with risk management.
• Excellent communication skills, including compelling RFP responses and executive-level presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans for priority prospects, markets and client segments across Asia Pacific.
• Originate new opportunities and maintain a strong, well-qualified pipeline across Agency Securities Finance and Collateral Management.
• Lead prospective client opportunities through the full sales cycle, including qualification, solution development, negotiation and mandate conversion.
• Deliver revenue growth across the assigned client portfolio against objectives.
• Expand wallet share with existing clients by identifying additional needs and coordinating product and coverage partners.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and understand each client’s business and priorities.
• Map the competitive landscape, including addressable wallet and market share.
• Lead RFPs, pitches and bid processes with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with Product Management, Relationship Management, Client Service, Onboarding and regional/global sales teams.
• Maintain effective internal communication so stakeholders understand the client agenda, requirements, opportunities and risks.
• Remain involved in commercial development following mandate award.
