Job summary

Leigh & Orange Limited, a Hong Kong based architectural practice, seeks an experienced web application developer to manage intranet and company website revamps. You will join the IT team to cover the full SDLC from analysis to implementation, liaising with stakeholders to balance requests and timelines.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in web development using ASP.NET, React, HTML and CSS, and is proficient with MS SQL Server.

Qualifications

• Higher diploma or above in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• At least 5 years of web application development experience.
• Experience with ASP.NET, React, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with MS SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Familiar with enterprise/intranet systems and system integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revamp intranet and company website.
• Participate in the full SDLC from analysis to implementation.

• Adhere to coding, documentation, QA and configuration management.
• Handle data processing and storage in MS SQL for ERP, timesheet, attendance.

Job description

To be responsible for in-house development, support and revamp intranet and company website etc.

To participate in the entire System Development Life Cycle including analysis, design, documentation, development, UAT, implementation and improvement

To liaise with different parties in managing requests and expectation for troubleshooting and new changes

To adhere to the development processes including coding standards, documentation standards, quality assurance processes and configuration management

To handle data processing and data storage programming in MS SQL for ERP, accounting, timesheet and attendance records etc.

To manage and prioritize programming activities in order to deliver services on schedule

Report to IT Manager for development project progress update

Provide assistance to helpdesk teams and to deliver IT services where necessary

To execute and follow up ad hoc project as assigned

Requirements

Higher diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related discipline

5+ years solid experiences in web application development

Experience with web technologies such as ASP.NET, React, HTML and CSS

Experience in MS SQL Server or other relational database systems

Experience in maintaining or enhancing enterprise or intranet systems will be an advantage

Familiar with web-based application architecture and system integration

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Immediately available is highly preferred
