Job summary

Varmeego Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a capable analyst programmer to join a large project team. You will participate in system development, testing, and maintenance across full project life cycle.

The role requires 2+ years of post-qualification IT experience on implementation projects, with ability to work under tight schedules, analyze requirements, design, develop, and test using Java frameworks such as Spring/JBoss and SQL on Windows Server.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification IT experience in one or more IT implementation project(s).
• Minimum 2 years of IT experience that covers requirements conformance, coding to specifications, testing, and production support.

Responsibilities

Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for system development, testing and maintenance support of large scale projects with over 20 teammates. He/she will be involved in the following areas:

Perform system analysis, design and development

Prepare test plan, test cases/scripts, test environments, data and perform testing

Support UAT and system implementation

Requirements

Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline

Minimum 2 years of post-qualification IT experience in one or more IT implementation project(s)

Minimum 2 years of IT experience that covers the following areas:

ensuring conformance of software package with user requirements

cording according to program specifications using the proposed software

conducting program testing and suite trials

preparation of job control procedures for both trial and production runs

Knowledge with Spring, JBoss, MS SQL, Windows Server is preferable.

Work independent, analytical, good problem solving skills, and must be able to cope with tight project schedule

Good communication skill in both spoken and written English and Chinese.

Less experience will be considered as Programmer
