Job summary

Join in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced After-Sales Technician to provide professional technical assessments and services to clients.

You will repair quartz and mechanical watches, ensure timely service, manage spare parts, and work with the Retail Team to support repairs.

A WOSTEP or equivalent certification and 3 years of experience in luxury timepieces are required; strong English and MS Office skills needed.

Qualifications

• Advanced watchmaking repair training or WOSTEP certification.
• 3+ years of experience as an After-Sales Technician.
• Experience in luxury timepiece industry preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet customer service levels.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Proficiency with standard IT tools (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional technical assessment and services to clients.
• Ensure timely completion of all after-sales services and repairs.
• Repair and service quartz, mechanical and simple complication watches.
• Inspect watches, repair or replace faulty parts, reassemble, lubricate and test accuracy.
• Provide basic polishing-refurbishing service.
• Manage spare parts stock and warehouse, input data into internal system.
• Coordinate with Retail Team to ensure smooth delivery and support of repairs.
• Collaborate with Retail Manager on technical training for sales staff.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

To provide professional technical assessment and services to our clients

To ensure timely completion of all after-sales services and repairs as requested by clients and in accordance to stipulated time frame

To carry our interventions on watches according to the Hermëts standards, guideline and ensure perfect technical function of the product

To be responsible & accountable for all client’s products received for services / repair and to handle them with due care

Workshop

To repair and control all types of quartz, mechanical and simple complication watches

To examine watches, remove any damaged parts; repair or replace any faulty parts; clean each part; reassemble, lubricate, and adjust the timepiece; test the accuracy of the repaired item

To provide basic polishing-refurbishing service

Spare parts stocks & Warehouse

Spare parts management (logistic - incoming and out-going order new parts ensure sufficient and number of parts in stock)

To perform quality control and quick service activities at warehouse / stores if need.

To input correct data in internal system

To work with Retail Team to ensure smooth delivery & support of clients’ repairs

To work with retail manager on providing technical training to sales team

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Advanced Watchmaking-Repair training or WOSTEP certification

At least 3 years' successful experience working as an After-Sales Technician

Candidates with experience in the luxury timepiece industry is preferred

Candidates must be able to work well under pressure to meet customer service levels

Good oral and written English

Good knowledge of the standard IT tools (MS office)
