Job summary

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority invites applications for a fixed-term contract role from individuals who thrive in a dynamic arts environment. The position supports the Performing Arts Division with administrative coordination, ticketing, and reporting duties.

You will work closely with diverse teams to ensure smooth operations, handle correspondence, prepare minutes and agendas, and assist in data-driven tasks essential to programme delivery.

Qualifications

  • University degree in performing arts, arts or cultural studies, or equivalent.
  • 4–6 years of administrative experience, preferably in statutory body or arts sector.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills; English/Chinese literacy.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate ticket consolidation and distribution for Performing Arts programmes and related reporting.
  • Manage internal/external correspondence and administrative duties including meetings and papers.
  • Liaise with Performing Arts Division and other departments on administration matters.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Authority.

Job description

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.

(This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.)

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating with the teams for consolidating and arranging tickets for the Performing Arts programmes, covering consignment and complimentary tickets and related reporting to ensure data accuracy and timely submission.
  • Handling internal and external correspondence and performing administrative duties including arrangements for meetings, preparation of papers for approval, meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Liaising with internal teams within the Performing Arts Division and across other departments of WKCDA on administration matters.
  • Performing any duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.
Requirements
  • Possess a recognised university degree in performing arts, arts or cultural studies, cultural management, arts education or equivalent.
  • Have at least 4 to 6 years of working experience, preferably with administrative experience in statutory body, non-profit organisation, or arts and cultural field.
  • Be highly organized and detail-oriented with strong administrative and multi-tasking skills.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access; and literate in written and spoken English and Chinese.
