Job description

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment. (Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Financial Analyst.)

Responsibilities

• handling month-end closing and preparing financial schedules;
• handling daily operational activities including processing payment requests and staff reimbursement, preparing journal vouchers, performing billings for tenants and checking subsequent settlement;
• assisting in preparing management reports and financial schedules;
• providing analytical support; and
• performing any other duties from time to time as the Authority may reasonably direct.

Qualifications

• qualified accountant or working towards obtaining the qualification with a recognised university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent;
• at least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or auditing, preferably gained in multinational / large organisations;
• team player with good knowledge of ERP systems, business controls and management reporting;
• detail-minded with strong analytical skills and critical thinking;
• good communication and interpersonal skills;
• good understanding of the public sector or working experience in quasi-public sector organisations in Hong Kong or commercial leasing sector will be an advantage;
• proficient in Excel, written and spoken English and Chinese.
