Job summary

Chiaphua Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the preparation and management of financial accounts, fund valuations and internal reporting, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Accountancy or above with at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong Excel and Word skills, and hands-on experience in QuickBooks Pro and Microsoft Teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accountancy or higher.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Excel (including pivot tables) and Word; hands-on QuickBooks Pro and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full sets of accounts (cash flow, P&L, balance sheet, budgets).
• Assist in group accounts, statutory audits and tax returns.
• Ensure transactions comply with corporate guidelines with high integrity and accuracy.
• Implement internal controls.
• Liaise with auditors, bankers, and vendors.
• Prepare internal reporting on fund pricing, NAV, fund performance, investor reporting.
• Monitor valuations and reconciliations of funds; prepare monthly closing P&L.
• Provide recommendations to fund managers per regulatory and accounting practices.
• Handle ad-hoc projects.

Job description

An Accounting Manager role involving the preparation and management of financial accounts, fund valuations, and internal reporting, with responsibility for ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare full sets of accounts, such as cash flow statements, P&L, balance sheet, budget control, etc.
• Assist in preparing group accounts, statutory audits and tax return filing
• Ensure all accounting transactions are recorded in accordance with corporate guidelines with high degree of integrity and accuracy
• Ensure proper implementation of internal controls
• Liaise with external parties (including auditors, bankers and vendors)
• Handle ad-hoc projects
• Preparation of internal reporting on fund pricing, NAV reports, fund performance, investor reporting etc.
• Monitor and review daily valuations and reconciliations of funds, prepare the monthly closing P&L statements
• Provide relevant recommendations to fund managers and work in accordance to the regulatory compliance and accounting practices

About you

Diploma in Accountancy, Degree holder or above

At least 5 years of relevant work experience

Familiar with computer applications particularly Excel (function setting, pivot table) and Word, etc. and hands on experience in Quickbook Pro accounting / Microsoft Team software

Independent, well organized, good communication and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated, responsible and attention to detail

Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadline
