Job summary

Sino-Ocean Group Holding Limited seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the full set of accounts and ensure timely financial reporting. You will review vouchers, settlements and monthly management accounts, support audits, and liaise with auditors, bankers and the company secretarial team.

The role requires a degree in accounting/finance, ACCA/HKICPA membership, and at least 8 years in multinational or listed firms with China experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline is required.
• ACCA or HKICPA membership or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 8 years of practical experience in multinational or listed organizations; Big 4 experience preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software (use of 用友 and Flex system) and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of HK and Mainland China tax, accounting standards and regulations.
• Hedge accounting knowledge is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; proactive, detail-minded and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Familiar with company secretarial workflows.

Sino-Ocean Group Holding Limited (03377.HK) is a well-established real estate development and investment company with solid international investor base. The group has proven strong performance and large asset portfolio bases in several major cities in the mainland China. We are looking for candidates with proven track record, commitments and high integrity to fill up the following positions:

Responsibilities

Handle full set of accounts independently and to review the payment settlement, vouchers, monthly management accounts and schedules of companies

Ensure timely financial reporting to management

Support and ensure the completion of annual financial audit

Liaise with operation teams of preparing management analysis and reviewing budget variance

Handle the taxation matters and work with company secretarial team to support relevant accounting function

Assist in preparing annual/interim reports

Liaise with the external auditors, advisors and bankers independently

Review the work done by subordinates

Take up ad-hoc assignments

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline

Member of ACCA / HKICPA or equivalent

Minimum 8 years of practical experience in multinational or listed organizations, auditing and China experience is a must (preferably with experiences from Big 4)

Proficiency in accounting software (preferably 用友 and Flex system) and MS Office (Excel, Word), hands on experience in cash management

Strong knowledge of Hong Kong and Mainland China tax, accounting standards and regulations

Ability to understand hedge accounting is preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Be proactive, detail-minded, multitasking, able to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Effective time management & ability to organize and prioritize tasks at an individual level under a variety of conditions and constraints with minimal guidance

Familiar with company secretarial work flow

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is a must

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Accounting Manager
