As an Accounting Assistance, you will provide essential support to the firm's accounting and audit team, contributing to the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports. This position is fundamental to maintaining the firm's high standards of financial accounting and reporting services to client
You will assist with the preparation of accounts for the firm's client using various accounting softwares and excel including :
Preparation and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers
Supporting the creation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Processing and verifying accounting transactions, including invoices, receipts and expense claims
Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Performing bank reconciliations and identifying discrepancies
Supporting the audit process by organising and preparing required documentation
Maintaining accurate and organised financial records and filing systems
Providing administrative support to various departments as required
Solid Accounting practical experience and
Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in financial work
Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and practices
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Reliability and professional integrity in handling confidential financial information
Previous experience in a financial/management accounting or reporting role is desirable
Proficiency in both English and Chinese languages
