Job summary

Fu wood Industrial Limited is seeking an competent accounting professional in Hong Kong to handle bookkeeping, financial reporting, and month-end closing. You will manage accounts payable/receivable and coordinate bank reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness.

The role supports statutory financial statements and internal/external audits, ensuring compliance with HKFRS and the Companies Ordinance. Fluent English and Cantonese are preferred, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Recognised accounting qualification or pursuing professional certification.
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in accounting or finance in Hong Kong.
• Proficiency in accounting software (MYOB, QuickBooks, or SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese; written Chinese an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping, financial reporting and month-end closing.

Job description

Perform general accounting duties including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and month-end closing; process accounts payable and receivable transactions; reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

Support preparation of statutory financial statements and assist with internal and external audit requirements

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) and the Companies Ordinance

Requirements

Recognised accounting qualification (e.g., HKICPA QP graduate, ACCA, or equivalent) or currently pursuing professional certification

Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in accounting or finance roles within Hong Kong
