Job summary

Wharf (Holdings) Limited is seeking a qualified accounting professional to manage accounting and finance for Mainland Investment Properties in Hong Kong. The role involves budgeting, forecasting, and detailed analyses to support business decisions.

You will review monthly local accounts, handle tax filings, monitor receivables, and conduct internal audits. Collaboration with local teams and guidance on daily operations are essential, with ad hoc duties as required.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Accounting/Finance or relevant disciplines.
• Student member of HKICPA or other professional accounting bodies.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounting and finance work for Mainland Investment Properties.
• Participate in annual budget and forecasts; prepare quantitative and qualitative analyses.
• Exercise proper control on CAPEX and OPEX payments.
• Review monthly local accounts and handle tax filings.
• Monitor and follow up outstanding accounts receivable items.
• Plan and conduct internal audits of local accounting operations; prepare relevant reports.
• Provide guidance to local accounting teams on daily accounting/financial operations.
• Perform ad hoc duties as required.

• Perform any ad hoc duties as required

Requirements :

• Degree holder in Accounting/ Finance or relevant disciplines
• Student member of HKICPA or other professional accounting bodies
• Minimum 5 years’ related working experience in Audit or Accountancy field
• Experience and knowledge in PRC accounting and taxation will be an advantage
• Independent, self-motivated and a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• High proficiency in written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua
