Job summary

Belimo is seeking an experienced financial professional for a senior accounting role in Hong Kong. The candidate will oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury operations, and reporting activities within a multinational environment.

The role requires strong knowledge of HK accounting standards and regulatory requirements, hands-on ERP experience (SAP) and proficiency in English and Chinese. Cantonese and Mandarin are preferred, with a focus on accuracy and intercompany settlements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational company.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, treasury, and financial reporting functions.
• Hands-on with SAP or other ERP systems and online banking platforms.
• Good command of English and Chinese; Cantonese and Mandarin proficiency is preferred.
• Familiarity with foreign currency transactions and intercompany settlements is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable (AP) – Process supplier invoices, reconcile supplier statements, and handle employee expense claims.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) – Monitor customer collections and overdue accounts, and support credit control activities.
• Treasury & Banking – Monitor daily cash balances and cash flow requirements; maintain banking records, signatory documentation, and online banking administration.
• Financial Reporting – Prepare monthly financial reports and schedules; support management reporting and financial analysis.
• Compliance & Audit – Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls; prepare audit schedules and support external auditors.
• Administration & Support – Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and assist with ad hoc projects and assignments as required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other standard accounting applications.
• Good command of English and Chinese; Cantonese and Mandarin proficiency is preferred.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, able to work independently, and familiarity with foreign currency transactions and intercompany settlements is an advantage
