Job summary

MEDLOG Hong Kong, part of MSC Group, is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate records, manage AP/GL, and assist with month-end closing.

The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting and at least 3 years of experience, strong Excel skills, familiarity with SAP is an advantage, and proficient English, Cantonese and Mandarin. The role offers a dynamic logistics environment in Hong Kong with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting functions including accounts payable, general ledger, invoicing, budgeting and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare full sets of accounts and support month-end closing activities.
• Manage cashflow and monitor financial transactions.
• Prepare vouchers, journal entries, bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Process and record payments and receipts accurately and timely.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing systems.
• Assist in financial analysis, KPI reporting and policy implementation.
• Support financing and investment-related activities as required.
• Prepare business quotations and conduct gross profit analyses to ensure market competitiveness.
• Handle insurance claims and related administrative matters.
• Provide office administration support as required.
• Undertake ad hoc assignments and projects as directed.
