Job summary

ASK IT Limited in Hong Kong seeks a NOC Engineer to provide 24x7 first- and second-line network operations center support for enterprise infrastructure. You will monitor, triage, troubleshoot, and coordinate issue resolution with internal teams and vendors.

You will work with Cisco/Huawei/Juniper devices and common monitoring tools, follow ITIL workflows, and maintain accurate incident logs while ensuring security baselines and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in network operations or NOC environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Certifications such as CCNP or HCIP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 monitoring, incident response, and event management for enterprise network infrastructure.
• Act as the first point of contact for network incidents and perform triage and troubleshooting.
• Monitor network performance using enterprise management tools (SolarWinds, Zabbix, PRTG, SevOne, NetBrain, Cacti).
• Follow ITIL workflows and manage incident tickets from creation to resolution.
• Coordinate incident resolution with internal teams and external vendors.
• Perform routine maintenance and implement changes within change management policies.
• Document incident logs, root‑cause analyses, and runbooks.
• Maintain compliance with security baselines and audit requirements.
• Work on a rotating 24x7 schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Complete onboarding and background checks; English and Cantonese proficiency; Mandarin is a plus.
