Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to monitor, maintain, and support its network infrastructure within a 24×7 NOC. You will safeguard production stability, resolve incidents, and coordinate with internal teams and external service providers.

The role requires 2–5 years in network operations, CCNP/HCIP, and ITIL knowledge. You will handle routing, switching, firewalls, and monitoring tools, working in a 7x24 shift pattern in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in network operations or NOC environments.
• Holder of Cisco CCNP or Huawei HCIP is required.
• ITIL Foundation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network infrastructure, WAN/LAN links, firewalls, load balancers, and data center equipment.
• Detect, analyze, and respond to network alerts and performance anomalies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve L1/L2 network issues within SLAs.
• Escalate to L3 engineering when needed.
• Maintain incident records and communicate with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers on production support.
• Work in 24×7 shift rotations.
