Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a Warehouse and Delivery Driver in Maidstone. The role offers a salary of £25,000 - £27,000 and requires experience in warehouse operations, delivery driving, and the ability to operate Reach Trucks. KHR are partnering with a bespoke moving and relocation company focused on quality, discretion, and exceptional customer service; who are looking to hire a hands-on Warehouse and Delivery Driver with good geographical knowledge, an external FLT licence and a hardworking attitude. This is a dual role with a diverse range of duties; perfect for someone who likes variety in their working day.
- Perform general warehouse tasks, including forklift work (reach truck), assisting with loading/unloading containers, and tracking items
- Utilise a warehouse management system for barcoding and stock updates
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment
- Support the Operations Manager and Warehouse Supervisor with inventory, paperwork, uniform prep, packing materials, and safety checks
- Assist with local deliveries by operating a 3.5t van
- Load and unload fragile and heavy goods from the van at customer sites
- Previous hands-on warehouse experience
- Delivery driving experience using 3.5-tonne vehicles
- Experience with operating Reach Trucks (external licence required)
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy goods when required
