Band 6 Mental Health Liaison Practitioner

Location

Blackpool, Lancashire.

Vacancies

1 x Band 6 Practitioners 37.5 hours 7 days, 24 hour cover including nights

Overview

We are looking to recruit a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner who has an enthusiasm for and passion to work within the Urgent Care Pathway within Mental Health Services.

Team

The Mental Health Liaison Team is a dedicated team of professionals providing comprehensive and holistic assessments for patients within the Acute Trust hospital from 16 years and over.

Responsibilities
  • Work within the Urgent Care Pathway to assess and manage patients aged 16 and over in the Acute Trust hospital
  • Consolidate and expand mental health clinical skills while working with a diverse population within the Fylde Coast
  • Collaboratively deliver comprehensive and holistic assessments ensuring all aspects of patient care are thorough and completed to an exceptionally high standard
Training & Development

The successful candidate will be supported and encouraged to further develop on courses such as NMP, specialist MHL training, opportunities to top up to degree level, amongst a multitude of other service specific in house training opportunities.
