Join us as a Workforce Management Solution Analyst where you will be responsible for maintaining the technical Workforce Management (WFM) toolset, scheduling, and forecast platforms. You will ensure effective change management and governance, working closely with vendors to guarantee the right build and functionality for supported teams. Additionally, you will design and build accurate medium and long-term forecasts, develop methodologies used within the platform, and partner with vendors to ensure the team has the appropriate toolset to support WFM.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in:

  • Rollouts of workforce platforms
  • Technical knowledge of Workforce and Forecast platforms
  • Practice in various workforce management and forecast methodologies

This role will be based in our Northampton, Glasgow, Liverpool, or Manchester offices.

Purpose of the role

To optimise staffing levels, forecasts, scheduling, and workforce allocation through data analysis to enhance the customer experience within the bank's operations.

Accountabilities
  • Management of staff optimisation levels, forecasting, and scheduling resources by analysing data, business volume, and trends to support the workforce allocation process.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate workforce management processes and governance.
  • Development and implementation of workforce management strategies, processes, and controls to mitigate risks and maintain efficient banking operations.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in workforce management processes and providing feedback and coaching for colleagues on these highlighted areas.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in workforce management services.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve workforce management efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Development and management of staffing schedules to optimise staffing levels to meet business needs.
  • Management of the operational readiness plans, supporting the business with meeting desired customer outcomes.

  • Consult on complex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
  • Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work, for business-aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practices (in other areas, teams, companies, etc.) to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Communicate complex information. 'Complex' information could include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
  • Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
