The role would suit an engineer or environmental scientist, recently graduated with some work experience or a post graduate, with knowledge and experience of wastewater and solid waste treatment methods. Initial workload will be focused around operating wastewater treatment plants in Manchester, with additional work supporting the wider team on other wastewater and waste processing projects. You will work with engineering staff at all levels to help in the delivery of wastewater and water recycling projects within SLR offices and at client offices and sites across the UK and internationally. You will be expected to represent SLR Consulting in an effective and professional manner and will work independently and as part of a team. This may involve travel and lone working at times, possibly outside typical working hours.

The successful candidate will also assist SLR staff in other disciplines within SLR, including the Waste and Resources Advisory, Environmental Management and Compliance, Land and Water and Environmental Specialist Services Groups and will develop client relationships to retain and develop new business.
