A local government council in Wales is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join their Children’s Services team. The position offers a competitive salary of £39,152 - £41,771 plus an annual market supplement. We are recruiting a Social Worker at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 37 hours per week.
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent.
Location: Tredomen House / Home working / Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide a service within our dynamic Children’s Services Locality Teams.
Caerphilly County Borough Council's Children Services are looking for a full time Social Worker in the Caerphilly West Team who have the right values, motivation, and commitment to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
There are six geographically located Children Services (locality) teams. The teams undertake high quality assessments and care management of children and their families who have been assessed as requiring ongoing social services intervention. The teams cover both short‑and long‑term work, including Children in Need of Care and Support, Children Looked After, Child Protection and court work.

If you are a qualified social worker, or are due to qualify this year, come to work in Caerphilly and be supported on your social work journey. We welcome applications from third‑year social work students. Successful applicants will be offered the opportunity of starting as unqualified support workers. Once qualified, they will then be appointed as social workers.
