Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Air Conditioning Project Manager to join a well-established, very successful contractor in the London region. The role is a hybrid position, consisting of working from the office and attending site to ensure work is carried out to specific deadlines, as well as quoting for new works and generating sales leads. The company is a well-respected contractor that is continuing to grow and is willing to invest heavily in the growth of the business, offering fantastic progression opportunities with an excellent bonus scheme related to sales.

Duties of the role include:

1. Managing all air conditioning installations across a range of commercial sites.
2. Managing a team of engineers and sub-contractors to ensure work is carried out on time and in line with project drawings.
3. Managing client service and quoting additional works.
4. Being accountable for the financial performance of the contracts.
5. Quoting for new works when required.
6. Developing meaningful and sustainable relationships with clients.
7. Working with operational and support teams to ensure all completion times are adhered to and met.
8. Managing subcontractors and negotiating rates.
9. Driving the profitability of the contract and managing the P&L.
10. Generating sales and cost-saving initiatives as appropriate.
11. Regularly meeting with clients to further understand their organization and requirements.

The Applicant:

The ideal applicant will have the following skills and experience:

1. Technical background essential in Air Conditioning.
2. Engineering management experience.
3. P&L / Financial experience.
4. Experience generating leads and quoting for future works.

Salary / Package

Basic Salary circa £59,000
Company Car / Car Allowance - £6,000
