A leading procurement firm in the UK is seeking a Buyer who will manage the procurement of indirect goods and services. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience in indirect procurement and strong negotiation skills. Responsibilities include sourcing, leading RFQs, and managing supplier relationships, all while ensuring compliance with company standards. The role offers a competitive salary and the potential for professional growth in a dynamic team environment.
Aureos are currently seeking a Buyer to join our group function. This role involves managing the end-to-end procurement of indirect goods and services, including but is not limited to categories such as stationary, PPE and workwear, IT, facilities, marketing, professional services.
As a Buyer you will have experience in the construction sector and ideally managing indirect spend. You will lead RFQs, tenders, and contract negotiations while ensuring compliance with regulatory and sustainability standards. You will driving continuous improvement in supply chain operations monitoring key performance indicators, and identifying opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive negotiator and relationship builder, have an analytical mindset and strong stakeholder engagement skills will support data-driven decision-making and foster collaborative partnerships with suppliers and internal teams.
The successful candidate will have the option to work within one of our offices in Crewe, Nottingham or Sheffield
