A healthcare provider in Bolton is seeking a Deputy Operational Business Manager to oversee the operational management of clinical services within the Surgery Division. The ideal candidate will manage performance, lead service improvement initiatives, and maintain compliance with healthcare standards. We are looking to recruit 2x Deputy Operational Business Managers within the Surgery Division here at Bolton.
The Deputy Operational Business Manager is a full time position reporting to the Operational Business Manager. The post holder will be responsible for the operational management of a range of clinical services. Specific operational patch will be dependant upon applications and skillset. Potential services for which the job role will be responsible will the any of: General Surgery, Breast Services, Urology, Head & Neck Services. The Deputy Operational Business Manager is responsible for the delivery of national and local access and quality standards, service development, complaint management and delivery of Income and Cost Improvement Programmes.
The post holder will be expected to exercise initiative, prioritise conflicting work demands and communicate effectively with the multi-disciplinary team, as well as internal and external departments, to deliver the highest quality of care for our patients.
The post holder will lead on delivery of national and local standards and will lead on projects to improve service delivery and patient experience. The post holder will need to problem solve as appropriate, and develop and implement sustainable solutions in conjunction with clinical and administrative colleagues.
