A regional healthcare trust is looking for a Community Mental Health Nurse to join its Petersfield and Bordon Community Mental Health Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide support for individuals with severe mental health needs, requiring both lone working and teamwork skills. The position is open to both qualified and newly qualified nurses, with the latter receiving additional support through the Preceptorship Programme. A driving license and access to a car are essential. Competitive salary is offered, between £31,049 and £37,796 annually.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mental Health Nurse to join the Petersfield and Bordon Community Mental Health Team. This post is open to both Qualified and Newly Qualified Nurses. If you are newly qualified, you will be supported to complete the Trust Precentorship Programme.
You will have the opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team and provide support to people with severe and enduring mental health needs, who require community support. The work is varied and interesting and there is a strong team approach ensuring good support for the successful applicant. The role requires lone working, use of initiative and a commitment to team working and service user empowerment. You will need to be able to work flexibly and to demonstrate solid experience of the CPA process, risk assessment, and the recovery model.
Regular supervision will be provided by an appropriate staff member in the team.
As a team player, you’ll be able to prioritise your work in order to meet deadlines and have a customer focused approach.

We have a varied and comprehensive list of learning beyond registration courses alongside inhouse trust training and will support staff to engage in relevant, identified courses, including the established preceptorship programme.

£31,049 to £37,796 a year. Please note for part time hours the salary will be pro rata.
