Job summary
A leading technology company in the UK is looking for an experienced Django and Python developer to join their small and focused team. This is a full-time role working on an exciting new project. Candidates should have extensive knowledge in Python and web technologies and some front-end experience. This role offers a competitive salary starting at £35,000 depending on experience.
Qualifications
- Excellent working knowledge across a wide range of web technologies.
- Experience with front-end technologies desired (SVG, Cloud services).
Responsibilities
- Join a small and focused team working on a Python/Django project.
- Work with large global companies in a relaxed and flexible environment.
Skills
We require an experienced and self-motivating developer to join our small and focused team and work with us on our exciting new Python/Django project, which is currently in development. You will require excellent working knowledge across a wide range of web technologies, from deployment through to database architecture, Python and front-end development.
Required skills:
- Python 3+
- Celery (RabbitMQ Broker)
- uWSGI/nginx Deployment Stack
- Unit Testing Frameworks
- Experience with git DVCS
In addition, some front-end experience of the following is desired:
- Experience using SVG rendering and manipulation via DOM
- Familiarity with Cloud based services such as AWS/MS Azure
