Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester in Huddersfield. This role offers an excellent salary up to £40,000 with Monday to Friday working hours, no weekends required. The family-run business emphasizes quality work and safety while providing full training support. Candidates must possess an MOT Testing licence, Level 3 qualification, and their own tools. Additionally, a four-day working week can be discussed upon application.

- Perform servicing and repairs on various vehicle brands.
- Execute diagnostics and repairs to industry standards.
- Maintain and clean the workshop and equipment.

aka Recruitment are proud to be working with a thriving and busy new client of ours to bring you this Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester role based in Huddersfield. You will be joining an established business and team as they continue to expand. This business is open to a sole MOT Tester as well, salary basic can go up to £40k with working hours covering 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday with no weekends involved.
- Servicing and repairs on a range of brands
- Removal and refitting of mechanical components
- Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards
- Ensure all equipment and workshop is maintained and cleaned
- Carrying out of inspections on a range of vehicles
- All work that is completed and carried out is within safe working practices
- Carry out Diagnostics and repairs to the highest industry standards
- Qualified at Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds)
- MOT Testing licence
- Own tools
- Full Licence with no more than 6 points
- Family run business
- Excellent Salary Basic
- Full training and support where needed
