Job description

The Portable Appliance Tester within ICSS Ltd is responsible for conducting routine inspections and testing of electrical appliances to ensure they are safe to use. This role involves traveling to various client sites across N.I. and R.O.I., performing tests, and maintaining accurate records of all inspections.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of portable electrical appliances in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Identify and report any faults or hazards found during testing.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests conducted, including test results and any actions taken using company templates.
  • Ensure all daily paperwork requirements are complete on SimPro scheduling software, updating each job status throughout the day.
  • Ensure test results are downloaded and submitted on completion of each job record.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
