Senior Industry Marketing Manager (Engineering Firms)

Location : Office-based/Hybrid/Home-based, US

Position Summary:

Bentley Systems is seeking a dynamic and results-drivenSeniorIndustry Marketing Managerto join our innovative team. In this senior level role, you will be responsible for developing and executing targeted marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and growth for Bentley’s solutions for engineering firms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to effectively convey how our solutions uniquely address the needs of engineering firms.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Industry Expertise : Demonstrate Bentley’s deep understanding of engineering firms, highlighting market trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Strategic Planning : Lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive marketing plans tailored to engineering firms, driving awareness and adoption of Bentley’s solutions.
• Content Development : Oversee the production of high-quality marketing content, such as white papers, case studies, videos, eBooks, blog posts, and webinars, that resonate with engineering firms.
• Campaign Management : In collaboration with the Field Marketing team, plan targeted marketing campaigns, leveraging various channels to reach and engage industry stakeholders.
• Sales Enablement : Collaborate with the sales team to develop industry-specific sales tools and training materials.
• Market Research : Conduct market research to gather insights on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Industry Representation : Represent Bentley Systems at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, enhancing brand visibility and establishing thought leadership.
• Performance Analysis : Track and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align marketing efforts with business objectives and industry requirements.

What You Bring to The Team:

• Educational Background : A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, a related field, or relevant training and experience; MBA is a plus.
• Experience : 7-10 years of product marketing or industry marketing experience in the B2B software industry.
• Industry Knowledge : A strong understanding of infrastructure engineering firms and their challenges.
• Proven Success : Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of audiences.
• Analytical Abilities : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Team Collaboration : Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
• Leadership Skills : Proven leadership abilities, with experience building strong relationships and influencing decision-making across teams.
• This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week, office-based, hybrid, or home-based in the US.
• Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling, and meeting functions.
