A healthcare organization in Stroud is looking for a community mental health nurse. The role involves care coordination for adults with enduring mental health problems, undertaking assessments, and requiring knowledge of safeguarding legislation. Experience in mental health settings is necessary, and the position demands independent travel. This is a valuable opportunity to make a difference in the community.
Qualifications
- Experience working with adults of working age in mental health.
- Knowledge of safeguarding legislation, MHA, and MCA.
- Ability to coordinate care and manage a caseload.
Responsabilités
- Care coordinate a designated caseload of individuals.
- Conduct duty and initial assessments.
- Travel independently for client visits.
This is an exciting opportunity for a community mental health nurse who has some experience of working with adults of Working Age and caring for individuals with Enduring Mental Health problems. The post will include care coordinating a designated caseload, working within CPA Policy and associated countywide risk procedures, undertaking duty and initial assessments, travelling independently, use of IT skills and a working knowledge of legislation regarding safeguarding vulnerable adults, the MHA and MCA.
