Community Action Team (CAT) program offers services in home and community settings for youth ages 11 to 21 with mental health and/or co-occurring substance use disorders who meet specific criteria.

Overview:

The primary duty involves performing work requiring advanced knowledge (Master’s Degree) in Human Services, using such knowledge to exercise discretion and independent judgment in providing high-quality, client-centered therapeutic services. The role includes serving as a consultant and mentor to Bachelor’s Level Direct Care employees and Behavioral Technicians. The position carries significant responsibility for client treatment and service documentation, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and standards. Based on the required knowledge and degree, this role is a lead position in direct care services.

Therapeutic services include assessment, treatment planning, direct service provision, person-centered services, and management of client risk and safety.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, rehabilitation, or a related human services field.
• At least two (2) years of experience working with children over 5 with mental health, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, or developmental disabilities.
• Preferred certification through the Florida Certification Board as an Addiction Professional.
• Ability to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring services.
• Willingness and ability to travel to clients’ homes, training locations, and other sites.
• Ability to pass background screenings and other organizational screening requirements.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and insurability under the company policy.

Compensation:

Annual salary ranges from $49,056 to $52,890, depending on experience.
