Mechanic / MOT Tester

Were looking for a Mechanic with 4 years experience or a newly qualified MOT Tester to join a busy, well-established garage in Benfleet. The role covers a mix of MOT testing, general repairs, and servicing across a variety of vehicles. Youll need to be confident managing your own workload, while also working well as part of a small, supportive team.

An MOT licence is not necessary as the client is very keen to train a new starter. Ideally you will be Level 3 qualified or have at least four years workshop experience, full support and training can be provided to help you gain your MOT qualification.

About the Role:

This is a varied workshop role involving MOTs (if licensed), diagnostics, servicing, and repair work from brakes and clutches to suspension and general maintenance. The garage is fully equipped, the work is steady, and youll be trusted to get on with the job without being micromanaged.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:30 am 5:00 pm

Saturdays may be added down the line

Paid overtime available
