A manufacturer of specialist radiopharmaceuticals is currently seeking a Pharmaceutical Chemist Production Operator to join the team at their site near Preston. The role will involve the synthesis, dispensing, and distribution of radiopharmaceutical products. This is an ideal opportunity if you are a graduate (MSc/BSc, or equivalent) of a relevant scientific discipline.
- Permanent, Full-Time.
- Due to the short shelf life of the products being manufactured, you will be required to work unsociable shift patterns, including nights and weekends (12-hour shifts). You will receive break periods, meaning over a period of 28 days, 11 days are worked.
- Synthesis of radiopharmaceutical products (cyclotron operation).
- Dispensing of radiopharmaceutical products into vials.
- Involvement in the packaging and shipment of products to patients.
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Prior experience working a similar shift pattern, including nights, is highly beneficial.
- Experience of working to, or a good understanding of, cGMP standards is highly beneficial.
