A leading education agency in Reading is seeking a Functional Skills Tutor to provide dynamic lessons in English and Mathematics. The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 3 teaching qualification, experience in teaching functional skills, and strong interpersonal skills. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £25-35, with a commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 3 Education & Training or above in teaching.
- Experience with Functional skills in English and Mathematics required.

Responsibilities
- Deliver dynamic and interactive lessons in functional skills subjects.
- Tailor teaching to accommodate diverse needs of students.
- Assess individual learners for personalized learning plans.

- Help students achieve their goals and contribute to an effective and enriching educational experience.
- Teaching Qualifications - minimum Level 3 Education & Training or above and hold a Level 2/GCSE qualification in English and Mathematics.
- Experience teaching Functional skills in English and Mathematics.
- Excellent time management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with students of all backgrounds.
