This role involves advising on a variety of employment matters, drafting contracts and agreements, and handling corporate transaction due diligence. Candidates should have experience in managing employment issues for finance, tech, and high-growth startups. Qualifications
- 4‑6+ PQE Employment Managing Associate experience preferred.
- Strong background in transactional employment matters.
- Experience with drafting and negotiating employment contracts.
Responsibilities
- Support and advise on employment matters.
- Draft and review employment contracts and agreements.
- Conduct employment due diligence during corporate transactions.

- Corporate support and advisory work across a broad range of transactional employment matters.
- Acting on workforce classification and restriction covenants.
- Cross-border M&A, workforce restructurings, employee relations, recruitment and severance.
- Advising leading global corporates in Finance, Tech, and high‑growth start‑ups.
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, consultancy agreements and employment policies and handbooks.
- Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements.
- Misclassification issues and general UK start-up issues for early‑stage companies.
- Individual and collective redundancy exercises.
- Disciplinary and grievance issues.
- The conduct of employment due diligence on corporate transactions and the drafting, mark‑up and negotiation of employment warranties and indemnities as needed.
