We are seeking an experienced Early Years Funding Manager to join our service on an interim basis for up to 6 months, supporting the delivery of statutory Early Years entitlements across the borough.
- Lead on the delivery of DfE Early Years Entitlements, including capital and revenue funding
- Manage and oversee payments to registered Early Years providers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
- Act as a key point of contact for providers, building strong, collaborative partnerships
- Use and manage the Synergy system to support funding processes and reporting
- Provide day-to-day management and support to a small team
- Ensure work is delivered to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience of Early Years funding management within a Local Authority
- Strong understanding of Early Years entitlements and funding streams
- Confident user of the Synergy system
- Collaborative, pragmatic, and solutions-focused
- Able to hit the ground running and add value quickly
