Job summary
A local government organization is seeking a Revenues Officer to handle council tax billing and collection. This remote role offers a 5-week initial contract with a pay of £32.11 per hour. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of Academy experience and be capable of working independently. Duties include updating accounts, establishing council tax liabilities, and delivering an effective service to users.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-years Academy experience is essential.
- Previous experience of using One EDMS would be desirable.
- Must be able to work independently to meet targets and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Update accounts and award discounts and exemptions in accordance with current legislation and policies.
- Accurately establish council tax liability including entitlement to discounts, reliefs and exemptions.
- Delivery of an effective and appropriate service to all service users, fairly and without discrimination.
Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Revenues Officer for our client, a local government organisation in Charnwood, Leicestershire. The successful candidate will work as part of the Revenues Billing Team, dealing with primary responsibility for the billing and collection of council tax. This role is a 5 week initial contract with the possibility to extend. This role is remote working.

37hrs / 9:00am-5:00pm / Monday to Friday
£32.11 per hr
