We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established national multi-metal stockholder, looking for an experienced Home Based Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth across a high-performing region.
Home based - Territory: Dorset, Berkshire, High Wycombe, Weymouth, Guildford, Newbury, Andover & Poole (Work from home with regular customer visits).
This is an external, customer-facing role focused on building relationships and developing business with manufacturers outside of defence, aerospace and nuclear.

What you'll be doing:
• Grow sales across a portfolio of existing accounts (ready to inherit from day one)
• Re-engage lapsed and dormant accounts
• Identify and convert new business opportunities across manufacturing sectors
• Book meetings, get out to see customers, and build long-term relationships
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure strong service and customer retention
Who we're looking for:
• Experience selling metals into manufacturing environments is essential
• Someone who enjoys being in front of customers — not desk-bound
• Confident with both new business and account growth
• Strong relationship builder who knows how to uncover and win opportunities
