A leading boiler manufacturer in the UK is seeking a Gas Engineer to service and repair Worcester Bosch boilers. This role offers a home-based arrangement with travel involved in designated postcode areas. The ideal candidate will have significant fault-finding experience and hold the necessary ACS certifications. Additional benefits include a competitive salary and expenses for fuel.

Location: Barnstaple, Devon, EX31; postcodes: EX22, EX23, EX31-39. Start: Monday. Status: Full time.
Salary: Starting package of £43,384 per year (basic salary £40,700 + £684 Lunch Allowance + approx. £2,000 Company Bonus) + Van with private use option and full expensing of fuel. Other benefits include overtime, 33 days holiday (25 + Bank holidays), pension (8%), optional healthcare, life assurance & sickness scheme, discount on Bosch products, Perk Box, uniform, laptop, and all specialist tools.
Employer: PAYE Gas Breakdown Engineer role for Worcester Bosch, a leading boiler manufacturer. Work involves servicing, fault-finding and repair on Worcester Bosch boilers (no system work).
Role type: Home-based; travel within designated postcode areas; no Sundays, no callouts, no shifts, no standby. Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota basis.
- Servicing, fault-finding and repair on Worcester Bosch boilers (no system work).
- Working as a PAYE Gas Breakdown Engineer in the listed postcode area.
- Previous fault-finding or breakdown experience (ideally 2+ years).
- ACS Core & Boilers certification (CCN1 and CEN1).
- Able to use a multimeter.
- Full UK Driving Licence required.
- Live in the listed postcode area.
- Experience with boiler manufacturers which may include Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Viessmann, Baxi, Ideal Boilers, Gloworm, Potterton, Alpha Heating, etc.
Product training will be provided to those who possess the above qualifications and experience.
