- Design, develop, and deploy backend services using Java.
- Build and maintain scalable APIs.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
Kenntnisse
Java Developers - 100% Remote role
SC Clearance is preferred but will sponsor exceptional applicants
- Design, develop, and deploy backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and maintain scalable APIs
- Analyse schemas and write optimised SQL queries against large datasets
- Work closely with DevOps on Docker containerisation and cloud deployment in AWS
- Contribute to architectural decisions and shape technical roadmaps
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Strong expertise in Java (8/11/17+)
- Proven experience with Spring Boot and microservices
- Strong background in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM)
- Knowledge of Kafka or similar messaging systems
- Advanced SQL skills with query optimisation
- Experience building REST / JSON APIs
- Proficiency with Docker for local and cloud deployments
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of JavaScript & ReactJS
- Familiarity with Amazon Aurora / RDS
- Experience with JUnit and testing frameworks
