Job summary

IQVIA is recruiting for a Clinical Specialist in Somerset, working in the field of joint medical devices, specifically hip and knee replacements and revisions.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining an existing customer base and developing sales in strategic accounts across several UK sales territories. You will become an integral part of the sales team by providing support to several territory managers in servicing their customers and accounts.
- Provide in-theatre support to consultants and nursing staff regarding the use of products for knee and hip surgery.
- Provide accurate information regarding all products and their indications (e.g., surgical techniques) to orthopaedic consultants and nursing staff.
- Provide first-class service to customers, including training, stock checks, timely deliveries, and supporting theatre teams to ensure successful operations.
- Assist in promoting and correctly using our client’s products through organized customer education meetings and training sessions.
- Develop business opportunities across the portfolio in Key Focus Accounts, communicate with the Territory Manager, and support the successful conversion of these opportunities.
- Promote the use of spinal portfolio and services to Orthopaedic Surgeons and Theatre Staff.
- Experience in orthopaedic hip and knee surgery is preferable.
- A solid understanding of the theatre environment is beneficial but not essential.
- Clinical qualifications such as ODP, RGN, Physiotherapy, or equivalent are desirable.
