Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Clinical Specialist (Spine) to join their sales team in Exeter/Plymouth and Taunton. This position involves providing essential support in the operating theatre, delivering accurate product information to orthopaedic surgeons, and enhancing customer engagement through education and service. Ideal candidates should possess experience in spinal orthopaedic surgery and a relevant clinical qualification.

Qualifications

  • Experience in spinal orthopaedic surgery is essential.
  • Solid understanding of Theatre Environment is beneficial.
  • Clinical qualification such as ODP, RGN, Physiotherapy or Science Graduate preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in theatre support to consultants and nursing staff.
  • Ensure first-class service including training and stock checks.
  • Promote use of spinal products to Orthopaedic Surgeons and Theatre Staff.

IQVIA is recruiting for a Clinical Specialist (Spine) in Exeter/ Plymouth and Taunton.

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining an existing customer base and developing sales in strategic accounts across several UK sales territories. In this role, you will become an integral part of the sales team by providing support to several territory managers in servicing their customers and accounts.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Provide in theatre support to consultants and nursing staff regarding the use of products for spinal surgery
  • Provide accurate information regarding all products and their indications (i.e. surgical techniques) for use to orthopaedic consultants and nursing staff
  • Provide first class service to customers including training, stock checks, timely deliveries and supporting the theatre team to ensure the operation proceeds successfully
  • Assist in the promotion/correct use of our client’s products through regular, organised customer education meetings and training sessions
  • Develop business opportunities across the portfolio in Key Focus Accounts, communicate to the Territory Manager, and support the successful conversion of these business opportunities
  • Promote use of spinal portfolio and services to Orthopaedic Surgeons, Theatre Staff.

Ideal Experience:

  • Experience of spinal orthopaedic surgery is essential
  • A solid understanding of Theatre Environment but not essential
  • Either a clinical qualification, e.g. ODP, RGN, Physiotherapy or Science Graduate.
