Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Landscape Architect at The Gardenists in London. The Senior Landscape Architect will be responsible for landscape planning, design, architecture, landscaping, and creating planting plans. Their day-to-day tasks will involve designing and implementing unique and creative landscape solutions that harmonize with the surrounding elements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Leadership:
• Develop strong conceptual designs that align with luxury standards.
• Oversee design development and ensure technical compliance with project briefs.
• Project Oversight:
• Manage and monitor project targets, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Prepare and review proposals, scopes of work, and performance metrics.
• Team Coordination:
• Lead internal teams and collaborate with external consultants.
• Conduct weekly reviews, set resource needs, and define objectives.
• Construction Oversight:
• Inspect construction phases and enforce quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance to support construction teams.

Key Skills and Experience:

• High-End Project Expertise:
• Proven experience in estate gardens, hotels, city gardens, or other high-end landscape projects.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Expertise in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and rendering software like Lumion.
• Strong technical and design skills across all project stages.
• Horticultural Knowledge:
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK plants (horticultural expertise is a bonus).
• Communication Skills:
• Ability to present designs to ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI) with creativity and clarity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership and Teamwork:
• Experience in leading teams and coordinating with consultants.
• Ability to inspire and guide team members toward project success.
