Graduate / Trainee Fire Engineer

Our client seeks a talented and motivated Graduate Fire Engineer with a Master's degree in Fire Engineering (or related engineering degree) from a reputable UK institution. As a key member the team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborating with experienced professionals to deliver cutting-edge fire engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct fire engineering analysis, simulations, and assessments for various building projects
• Assist in the development of fire safety strategies and designs in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate fire engineering solutions seamlessly into architectural and structural designs
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in fire engineering

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Fire Engineering (or related engineering degree) from a recognised UK university
• MIFireE (a member of the Institute of Fire Engineers) - essential
• Strong understanding of fire science principles, fire dynamics, and fire safety engineering
• Proficiency in fire engineering software such as Pyrosim, FDS, or similar
• Skilled in AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development
