Job summary
A leading aerospace company is seeking an experienced Managing Director to oversee operations at the Newton Abbot and Motherwell sites. The role includes full P&L responsibility and requires strong leadership skills in managing manufacturing and repair/overhaul operations. With a focus on profitable growth, the candidate will drive business strategies, enhance customer relationships, and foster a high-performance culture. Ideal applicants should have extensive experience in aerospace, business development, and effective change leadership, along with a relevant degree.
Qualifications
- 10-15 years of P&L experience in a manufacturing and repair/overhaul environment in aerospace.
- Prior commercial and sales management experience necessary.
- Must be an effective change leader with strong executive presence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the operations for Newton Abbot OEM and Motherwell OEM sites.
- Ensure the effective development and execution of profitable growth strategies.
- Attract, develop, and retain qualified, talented employees.
