Our client's Disputes and Investigations Group currently comprises 15 partners, 28 associates, 5 trainees, 2 PSLs, and several paralegals. The practice has grown significantly in recent years and has extensive experience of successfully resolving increasingly complex and high-value commercial disputes across a wide range of sectors worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Litigation Associate to join the Liverpool team.
Job Description
As a Commercial Litigation Associate, you will be dealing with a range of legal matters including financial and regulatory disputes and investigations, high-value professional negligence, civil fraud, product liability, international arbitration, contentious insolvency, and corporate claims involving directors, shareholders, and investors.
Clients include financial institutions, major international corporates, professional services firms, cutting-edge life sciences and technology companies, governments, and high net worth individuals/family offices. The Group has, for example, recently been involved in cases relating to banking and investment fraud, shareholder disputes, corporate finance disputes, product recalls, investment treaty arbitrations, major asset-tracing exercises arising from fraud, and significant claims against Big 4 accountancy firms. The Group has also been involved in a number of significant contentious regulatory matters, including FCA and other regulatory investigations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Commercial Litigation Associate should have between 1-4 years PQE working in commercial litigation. Please note the level of experience identified in this advert is a guide only and does not preclude candidates with more or less experience from applying.
