About the Role:

Write, update & maintain technical specifications for raw materials & finished products
Liaise with suppliers to verify materials, certifications & technical data
Ensure compliance with legal, customer & food safety standards
Support NPD teams with documentation, technical input & packaging checks
Oversee third-party certification schemes
Contribute to HACCP/VACCP risk assessments & food fraud systems
Participate in internal audits & maintain accreditation records

Experience Required:

Previous experience in food specification management & systems.
Understanding of UK/EU food legislation & compliance standards
Strong attention to detail & time management skills
Confident communicator with suppliers & internal stakeholders
Familiarity with specification databases or systems
