Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Security

Role Responsibilities

1. Develop and enhance modern cloud-based cybersecurity services across all layers, from database to front-end.
2. Implement secure authentication solutions (MFA, Passkeys, etc.).
3. Integrate with identity providers like Auth0, Transmit Security, and Ping Identity.
4. Build solutions to detect and prevent account takeover attempts by bad actors.
5. Improve the efficiency and resilience of cloud services.
6. Drive continuous improvement of technical standards, tools, and processes.
7. Collaborate with the Product Owner to transform business needs into technical requirements.
8. Manage deployment and operations across development, testing, and production environments.
9. Work with global teams in Australia and the U.S. to share insights and best practices.

Qualifications

1. Expertise in Cloud Computing and Cloud Services (preferred: AWS).
2. Strong coding fundamentals in TypeScript and Python, with familiarity in frontend frameworks like React and Angular.
3. Deep understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, networking, and encryption.
4. Experience building and consuming web services; familiarity with microservices-based architectures is a plus.
5. Solid understanding of REST APIs.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. Knowledge of agile development methodologies; experience with the scrum framework is preferred.
8. A passion for continuous learning and development, both technically and non-technically.
