Job summary
A family-owned vehicle financing company in Northampton is seeking an experienced accounting professional to report to the Financial Controller. You'll handle month-end closing, manage a small team, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and has strong Excel and accounting software skills. This role offers a contract for 12 months with flexible working conditions and various beneficial programs.

Responsibilities
- Prepare month-end close documentation and monthly management accounts.
- Manage a small team overseeing day to day transactions.
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared monthly.
- Prepare VAT return information.
- Oversee purchase and sales ledgers.
