The key responsibilities for the role of Finance Analyst includes:
- Prepare and post month-end journals, support month-end and year-end close processes, and generate management reports with clear commentary and analysis.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, taking ownership of specific cost and revenue budgets while supporting financial review processes.
- Provide insights, recommendations, and financial analysis to Finance Business Partners and budget holders to drive efficiencies and improve performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data, monitor financial risks, and maintain compliance with regulations and internal processes.
- Utilise financial systems and tools to streamline reporting, support decision-making, and assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies.
A successful Finance Analyst will have:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and best practices.
- Previous experience in a similar finance role is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
