Accounts Assistant l Manchester City Centre l £27,000-£30,000 l 3 - 6 months temp (potential for extension) l Hybrid- 2 -3 days from home

Job Overview:

Axon Moore is delighted to be working with an award-winning and one of the fastest Tech companies in the UK. This role will be required for a 3-6 month period (potentially longer), reporting into the Senior Management Accountant and will offer exposure to wider finance duties. Interviewing asap with immediate start!

Daily Duties:

1. Own the purchase ledger process from end-to-end.
2. Input bank transactions, posting bank transactions, and reporting cash balances.
3. Reconcile daily sales data against payments received.
4. Assist with month-end procedures and reconciliations, adhering to strict deadlines.
5. Provide cover and support within the wider finance team.
6. Resolve queries engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Complete ad-hoc work as assigned.

Person Specification:

1. Experience in a similar role.
2. Acturis & Xero experience would be desirable.
3. Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
4. Proficient in Excel.
5. Professional manner and a strong ethical code.
6. Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
7. Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
8. Confident communicator & great attention to detail.
9. Strong analytical skills and a real passion for improving performance & providing support to the wider team when required.
